OpenGL/D3D patch for Shadow Warriors, Blood & Duke Nukem 3D?

    Hello,
Is there a working OpenGL / D3D WinXP patch for Shadow Warriors, Blood & Duke Nukem 3D I could use to play and enhance the graphics? All 3 are supposed to be using the same old 3D engine.

    Thanks in advance.

Never heard of such a thing. The original Build engine didn't use any form of graphics acceleration at at all, it's so old-skool it does everything on the CPU, in part because it isn't actually a 3D game.
The graphics are a bit creaky because it was originally written for VGA/SVGA resolution using DOS. You'd probably need to rewrite large parts of the game from scratch to use Windows and OpenGL/D3D, although since the source code has been released to the community someone may have done exactly that...

And what do you know - our favourite online encyclopedia/rubbishbin has a mention of EDuke32 which is a mix of a couple of other projects (linked from that page). So there you go, one of those should sort you out. Let us know how you get on.

Now if only someone would do a port of Deus Ex to the Source Engine...

Beaten to it while trying to get the damn links to work
