    S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Oblivion Lost

Just wanted to see what everyone thinks about this, I've been following this for a while (partly because of its location (80 miles from where i lived for 17 years) and because its being made by my fellow ex-USSR folk).

I think it has a very good potential, and i am definitelly going to buy it. Forgive me if its been posted before, as i am too lazy to go too deep into the old posts.

Anyway, find the infor on the game here.

Yeah I saw this when people were giving their "games to look forward to in 04" thread a few months back. I really like the look of the wide open spaces - I always find levels like that in other games really enjoyable.
We rejected the linear level-to-level passage in favour of such freedom of action and movement as seen in 'Elite'
Respect to that. Elite is easily the best game ever written. Has anyone ever tried to do an open ended FPS before? Cant wait...

Looking forward to this more than Doom 3, HL2 and FarCry combined. What I have seen of it so far it looks amazing. PC mags don't seem to have much on it lately unfortunately as they tend to go for the big commercial names.

Definately one to watch out for
