quick question about Dark Messiah Might + Magic (the first one)

Does it have Co-Op over a LAN?

And if not, can you still have fun with that game over a LAN, with 3 people?

A couple of mates and I are playing a lot of games over his new LAN, and we've had fun. We play SWAT4, COD4, C&C3 Kane's Wrath, but that's all we have so far. I was thinking of buying this Dark Messiah game because I used to have it years ago but I lost it when I moved. It was a lot of fun, and I heard it is lan-able, but deathmatch isn't too good with 3 people. So we prefer to do co-op if possible.

Anyone know the game well enough to help me with some info?

Looking round the net you can play it over a lan. It has to be the non steam version though I think.

Also make sure you have it patched up to the latest build as the game out of the box is extremely buggy and prone to crashing regularly.

Thanks mate, v kind I'll probably just buy it again for myself and give it a try. And if it's good I'll get another couple of copies.

I'm surprised at how limited our choice is! Not everything supports LAN, and of the stuff that does, very little supports Co-Op. It's weird. I have Rainbow 6 Vegas, and it supports Co-Op and I heard it works great. But I also have Rainbow 6 Vegas 2, and for some reason they removed the co-op option.

Oh well.

Have you not thought about Neverwinter Nights for some good co op gaming or even Diablo2? Can't go wrong with hack n slash RPG's for co op, just so much fun.

I'd love to play NWN / NWN2, but I think it would be a bit slow for my mates. They like fast paced and shootin stuff In fact thats why I wanted this DM M&M because it's a bit of a mixture of both. Shooting but with some rpg elements.

How about Titan Quest and the Immortal Throne expansion? its sorta diablo like but 3d and a lot more character classes.

Ghost Reacon? thats coop I believe
