its a very personal thing. Took me ages to move away from my old Microsoft mouse (with the track ball) - I liked the weight and shape.

Does anyone have a Razer mouse with a squeaky mouse wheel? It's driving me nuts! Anyone got any solutions?

I agree, a mouse that fits your hand and your gaming style is well worth the money.

Another vote for the 518 - i've got quite long fingers, and have found some "erganomic" mice to be quite uncomfortable, but the Logitech is spot on. Also - whilst the variable dpi I didn't find particularly useful for my mousing style - it's handy for stuff like photoshop!

I'm using the Saitek Cyborg, best mouse I've had yet. Looks a bit weird but excellent for gaming and the extra buttons come in handy.
