I have been real busy playing all the new PC releases & wanted to quickly share my views:
1. Crysis warhead: a good quality FPS and is worth playing from start to finish.
2. Bully Scholarshop edition: was enjoying it to a certain point but after a couple of crashes for my liking, i dumped the game in the bin. Not the best port from console to PC.
3. Far Cry 2 : Overall a pleasant gaming experience but I did find the long driving and killing through the same checkpoints tedious. Underneath the whole game it did feel like playing GTA with a different skin.
4. Deadspace: You cant cutomise all your controls e.g you can't map the forward, back, left, right & you are FORCED to use the WSAD keys (wtf was EA thinking of?). I have always used the arrow keys for movement so i found this unplayable. Un-installed this game until EA release a patch to fix this.
5. Fallout 3: With all the hype surrounding this i had to play Fallout 3 (enjoyed fallout 1). Enjoyed the first few hours but when I got to the Museum of techology to get the dish for some dude and i just found myself getting real bored of the game. Uninstalled this game & i dont think i will ever play it. Maybe i have lost my appetite for role playing games (maybe its due to my old age..heheh) but i did enjoy playing The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion.
6. Cod WAW: I feel let down by WAW; it does not have the same impact as COD4 and does not move the COD series foward. Just feels like playing Cod4 with a different skin but there is no denying the flame thrower is fun to use. The game is short and sweet and pretty easy. I wont spoilt it for the others but there is a nice little bonus game at the end of the credits. Enjoy
7. Left4Dead: Hopefully this will be my game of the year.
