    Game Rental Service

What is the best online game rental service available, my needs are pretty simple:

Would only want 1 xbox 360 game at a time
Allowed to rent at least 2 - 3 games a month
    Keep them for 1 - 2 weeks
Reliable service (I won't be kept waiting for 2 weeks after I posted the game back before I receive my next one)

    Thanks hexus

    Re: Game Rental Service

I heard bad things about lovefilm though. That you would rarely get sent anything in your top 10 and always get sent things at the bottom of your list and what not. I've only ever read bad reviews.

Although, if someone could point me to some positive reviews then I'll obviously rethink?

    I'll give gamesfrenzy a look.

More expensive than lovefilm, for £5.87 a month on lovefilm you can get 3 a month (that's all I want really), 1 at a time. Compared to gamesfrenzy £10 a month, 1 at a time unlimited.

Seems every rental company is plagued by never sending games at the top of your list. Hmm...

Tesco dvd rental, I am quite sure they do games as well.

Unfortunately they are owned by lovefilm but I've never had any problems with them

    Re: Game Rental Service

£9.76 for unlimited game and dvd rentals (1 at a time) a month, not bad. Seems that's the cheapest package with games. Might see if someone in my family will split with me for the 2 a month, I get a game and they get a dvd. Just wondering if that's possible?

    Oh yes please.

Just wondering though, do you create seperate lists for dvds and games, or just one list?

Check your pm, also tell me if the code works. I'm quite sure it will but if not I have more. Tesco sent me quite a few.

    Its on the same list.

    Re: Game Rental Service

Thanks very much mate, will try it soon .

So, I could have a list of 20 dvd's and games, and they could send me out 2 dvd's, 2 games or 1 of each? Is there no way to get a dvd and a game, send them back, get another dvd and game? Is it all just depending on the order of your list and what you have available?

For some reason the site is just timing out.

As far as I know its all random, you can prioritise what you want though.

For some reason the site is timing out on me as well, strange anyhow it should be back up soon.

    Re: Game Rental Service

I've been using Lovefilm for almost two years now, never had any problems.

The discs normally get sent out promptly. You used to get a new disc back the second working morning, although since I moved up to Yorkshire the (postal?) service seems to have slipped a bit.

Look here to find a 90 day trial code. I've been using these codes over and over, only ever paid the proper fee once when I forgot to cancel the service.

Make sure to select "I want games" when choosing the package during sign-up.

On Lovefilm (I assume tesco is the same as they're just a rebreanded offering) you can have multiple lists. If you are on a package where you get multiple disks at once you can specify how many come from each list. If you only get one disk at a time though I think it's just pot luck

Yep we done the same with Lovefilm. Basically cancel every 3 months and the join up again. 12 months for the price of 4, cant beat it
