Game trading?

I was thinking,

i saw a thread before about people swapping with eachother unwanted DVDs,

I was thinking does anyone want to do same with old games that are unwanted and lieing around your cupboard collecting dust,

i still do love old games and play few alot but i got here few that i dont mind trading,

I got (all pc)

Delta force 1 and 2
Comander and conquer tiberian sun
Worms United
Red Faction 2
Motorcross madness 2
Lego racers 1 and 2
Scrapland

i was wondering if anyone else is interested in any off these and can swap for something old

im willing to consider anything fun, i pref want a copy of worms armageddon

Before you do anything, run it past a mod/admin to make sure they're ok with it. The one you saw was, I suspect, Zak33's thread in General Discussion (he has an orange name) - he is an admin, so he knows the rules.

I will redirect someone here, just to make sure... if it's not good, then I'm sure they can say why not

Hokay, I kinda knew Zak's DVD swap would come back and bite us in the ass.

The whole point of the swap thing was to SWAP... you pay postage to send it out and the person swapping pays postage to send to you... no money actually changes hands.

If you're going to pay for anything then this whole thread gets shifted to the For Sale forum.

So, don't offer to pay and don't ask for payment.

Also, it's very much a case of taking your chances who you deal with. If you get shtupped, that's your problem. Take the usual precautions, get a landline number, test it, use recorded delivery... what ever you feel you need to do to make sure you don't get conned.

First sign of someone trying to use this to get around the limitations on access to the FS forum and make themselves a sale and I'll dump the thread.

Basically, the main points of Nick's post were:

1) You pay for postage to them, they pay for postage to you. NO OTHER MONEY INVOLVED.
2) Be careful about who you're trading with. HEXUS aren't liable for any swaps that take place.

I'm sorry Georgy, but with only relatively few posts to your name, there's going to be a lot of people who won't want to deal with you - you're still an 'unknown', especially in this day where paranoia on the internet is growing more and more.
