Smile Batman: Arkham Asylum demo out this Friday.

I've only seen one review so far for this, that was from OXM and they gave it a 9, but then that's OXM.

The demo is out for PC, 360 and PS3 this Friday so it will give us a chance to try it out before the games full release at the end of the month. I've been looking forward to this for a long time now, so lets hope it's good

There was some article somewhere. Maybe PC Gamer. It was saying how the games maker believes they something about the gameplay nailed to perfection or something.

It looks nice. Maybe a surprise classic.

To be fair, it's not like they are gonna say it plays like a bag of old spanners though are they?

    No, maybe not.

But they are releasing a propper collectors edition at launch. That tells me they must believe they have a great game here and it is something special. I know that does not atomatically make it a good game. But a lot of great games do the same.

Never been a huge batman fan. But the the dark comic macarbe look appeals to me. It looks like a well made game.

Have you got the special edition or just the game on its own, the Game stores I am going to are either lazy gits or just don't have a brain cell as they say they can't order a special edition yet its on their own sodding website lol

They just put me down for the standard one. Not sure whats in the box for the special edition. I got the Fallout 3 special edition with the Brotherhood of Steel figure and one of the kids ripped it out of the box (happens frequently with collectible stuff of mine )

So going on that I may give the special ed a miss

Yeah, the store in Eldon Square has the big box on display near the door on the right and posters up behind the counter but no one knows anything as such about it.

Have you been in our new store yet Grey M@ta, we opened after a refit last Saturday, looks awesome.

I have even emailed the contact details from the website to ask how I would go about pre ordering it so I could get it with the vouchers but still no reply 5 days on. The only reason why I am going for the special edition is that the extra map etc I can see them charging 800 MS points for it so may as well get the full pack to begin with.

I couldn't decide if to buy this on PS3 or PC, reading this appears that you can only play as Joker on PS3 so spose the PC version loses out this time. Does look fun using the Joker to beat up the prison guards - lol at Jokers crazy moves look at this.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qCm-tXYCZU
