    Dawn of War (Warhammer 40k)

For anyone who knows what Warhammer 40k is, or is a stratergy fan in general should look here as Dawn of War has a trailer out on the web:

    http://www.dawnofwargame.com/uk/downloads/

And the main website here :

    http://www.dawnofwargame.com/uk/homepage.php

To say I'm looking forward to this game, would be be like saying that Jordan's a bit of hand full - A massive understatment.

Yeah, I can't wait for this.

It's a great year for RTS games, I've never been excited about three different RTSs at once before, but with W: DoW, LotR: Battle For Middle-Earth and Rome: Total War this year is a fine vintage indeed for the RTS.

I'm 27 and still do... (well just started again).

(Ignore the rotate bit at the bottom - it's off my webbie)

The thing is I haven't played it in ages but with that computer game I can final play it without having to have the rules explained to me by some 12 year old in the local GW store, and then having him beat me at it 5 seconds later.
That and your average battle with a big army will only take about an hour instead of 5 hours with the minatures .

    Haha, so true.

The fact you'll be able to paint (for lack of a more precise word) the game's models is also nice selling point.

i used to love painting them when i was younger (bout 15). I had two armies, an Eldar and a Space Marine. Although just to be different the space marines were green, white & gold.

Never really played the game much, just used to paint them. Think they're in the loft somewhere hehe

hmmm almost in the mood to break the paints out and get started again lol.

Yeah I used to just paint, only cause none of my friends were interested at the time and had no one to have a game with *sniff

I spent loads a dosh on em as well - looks like this game will make up for those painful memories.
