Doom III Demo
Taken from the HEXUS Front Page:Those of you who haven't tried out Doom III yet and aren't sure whether it's worth your hard-earned: a single-player demo containing three levels is now available.
Weighing in at 461MB, you'll probably not want to grab this with a dialup modem. It should be available on your favourite gaming downloads site, but if you don't have a favourite, here are a couple of links:

hmmm - played it... a bit samey - I think the whole holding flashlight thing is irritating.
Some really nice graphical effects there. I did get a bit startled in a couple of places.. but after the first time the effect wears off a bit.
I loved it for 3-4 days but the action gets repetative. I got through hell and haven't played since really. It's a really nice engine but it's too long thats why Half-Life is much better. Wondered off subject a bit there
If anyone has completed it please tell me the ending
i actually rather enjoyed this. had a proper tense feeling to it, was twitching good & proper well after finishing.
relatively old-fashioned, but has more in common with the seminal System Shock 2 than to the old Doom 1.
System Shock 2 was voted the world's scariest game a while ago, not surprisingly.
Doom3 however is just crap
