The original Dark Souls. Not even the sequel compares!

Probably going to be GTA: San Andreas, but games like Dishonored, Witcher 2, KOTOR, PSX FF games, Megal Gear Solid games, Deus Ex games are snapping at the heels.
monkey island, sue me.
God, where to start.... I don't think I could pick one, so I will put them into categories.
Winner of the 'Captivating world and feel' award is : Wind Waker, I loved exploring the remote islands and the atmosphere was brilliant.
Winner of the 'Game you keep going back to to play the first few levels again and again' award is : A three way tie between Dungeon Keeper, Settlers 2 and Theme Hospital
Winner of the 'Favourite recent game' award is : Red Dead Redemption. Repetitive skinning animations to one side I really really enjoyed this game from start to finish, even the Mexico section. Absolutely beautiful too.
Winner of the 'Best game I played on my Amstrad in 1987' award is : Alley Cat. Love them mousies.
Winner of the 'I'm aware most people are indifferent to it, but I really love it' award is : S.T.A.L.K.E.R
Winner of the 'Favourite multiplayer game' award is : Starseige Tribes. I easily put more hours in to that than anything else.
Winner of the 'local multiplayer' award is : Goldeneye, enough said.
Hmm, the gaming series I've stuck the most hours into would be Everybody's Golf on PSP/PS3/Vita. Totally fantastic.
G NOME, wish they would remake this game
Ocarina of Time was pretty awesome. Ignited my love for big open world games!
Conker. But specifically, the Audio from Bad Fur Day, and video from Live and Reloaded... If you've played both, you'll know why
Pong
The original Elite
Grab that. Get that. Check it out. Bring that here. Grab anything useful. Take anything good.

Can do a better job by platform though.

Final Fantasy 7 my first RPG started my love for RPGs shame Square enix haven't produced a decent game since Final Fantasy 12 imo
Toss up between Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Advance Wars: Dual Strike. They're 2 incredible SRPGs released by the same company in the same year, which is just amazing. For a non-strategy game, I'd say RE4.
Zelda ocarina of time will always be my favorite game of all time
It's a difficult question. I have many favourites for different reasons.
Walking dead was amazing because of how emotional it made me.
Ocarina of time because it was such an amazing adventure with fun story and gameplay.
Dark souls because it had amazing gameplay, hidden depths and it's firm but fair challenge.
I think the winner has to be FF7 though. That story, those characters, that gameplay. I just... yes, all yes.
