    HL2 Problem (Maybe a bug?)

Hey guys, i dont *think* this should be in the HL2 sticky as it *might* be a bug

I am on the stage "Hazordus Waters (sp?)" and when i have opend the HUGE gates (after the helicoper shoots me) i go through some fallen-down aqua ducts, then i come to a bit where i have to "surf" across the top of a few submerged aqua ducts. I then go through the aqua ducts and i hit... this

That image dosent really show what it is.. You know on HL1 when you go out of a map, and it does that blurry thing... where it spreads what you last saw out into loads of little bits? (if you havent had it on hl1 then you wont know!) and i just stop, dead. Cant go anywhere else! Have i went the wrong way? Is this a bug? Cheers,

    Craig

i havnt actually played the game but i know that the www.hl2fallout.com
forums were saying there were lotsa bugs in hl2
and i wouldnt be surprised gabe proably whipped the team to get them to finish the game as early as possible and they will have missed tonnes
it will be fixed though in version 1.1 im guessing

Yeah, looks like you've caught the edge of the brush there. Had a coupla times in HL and at that exact spot in HL2... took me three runs to get the airboat in the right spot to just skim over it. Try going slow rather than belting along and you'll get through dead easy.

Is it me (or my monitor) but why do other people's screenshots always look like doom 3?

depends on what time of day it is in the game... I noticed this last night.. ie you get to Eli's lab in early evening.... by the time you get to Ravensholm it's dark.... I like that. Lots.
