hmm im onto the last battle now, there seems to be alot of men to fight, i take it i'll have to fall back into the castle and bombard them with arrows as much as possible

Basically you've got to stand firm an use your archers as much as you can - although you are outnumbered it doesn't take a lot to force an enemy unit to turn around and flee.

Just a case of counter attacking at the right time - btw - your royal Knights are VERY useful - they are ROCK hard, you can literally plough through a larger enemy force doing a lot of damage (providing they aren't spearmen on higher ground)

Its bloody hard but I managed to do it on my 3rd attempt.

aint tried it yet been out all day. the Rome-Total War is out soon

won best game of e3, which is nice.

just done the last mission in demo, won first time, just matter of making ur archers fire alot then countering there rushes, then fall back soon as they retreat, i killed theregenral early tho, bit lucky, and i did overuse richard, 300 kills

Really is a quality game and from a British Developer! (Creative Assembly)

This really is the only game that I've played where real tactics can come into play and effect a battle in such a dramatic way. Rome Total War has the potential to blow away every other game in the genre.

Well my gameplay order still hasn't come, medievil war & viking invasion togeather, I've checked other online retailers and they are out of stock - must be a wide spread thing.

that is a BARGAIN.......its a must play....any recent PC will swim with it nicely
