Finally got myself sorted out and online last night. Teamed up with TiG and another of our friends and went rockin' and rollin'.

Hey cool, be good to have you on board ToMmeh. Sounds like we have Hexus people on a fair few servers so it will be easy to find a friend.

To give an update on my character:

I am now a lvl 15 tauren hunter with a level 14 lion as a pet. I am specializing in leatherworking and skinning and all my armour was made by me.

Downloaded the beta last night.... Installed it..... Just had to wait for beta pack to arrive... WHICH DID this morning BUT i'm stuck at work until tonight.. Oh Boy.. i'm gonna have some fun when I get home

Decided ages ago lol... Dwarf Hunter As for profession, bleh I still cant decide... Skinning/Leathering.. or Mining/Blacksmithing... choices choices... I woulda picked fishing but I heard it was nerfed badly

Been playing AO for 3 years and adore pet classes, in AO you get an awesome robot and mech dog and i've got friends who've been in previous WoW betas (and who I played AO with) who have told me i'm gonna enjoy being a hunter...

As for server... hmm gotta check which one those peeps from AO are on, but hey I can have more than one char, if you hexus guys need another n00b to play with

NiROE - you can take fishing as well as skinning/leathering (or mining/blacksmithing). You can also take cooking and first aid as well.

OMG what a night... what a night... Never had so much fun since the early days of AO

Anyway... Played for about 5 hours, made it all the way to lvl 8... My lil dwarf hunter ahh she really kicks ass... Met up with a few friends (they are about 10 lvls higher) who kitted me out with a few things, new gun, bags, etc.. Had so much fun as I solo'd those 8 lvls, killings and questing.

And Leon, yeah thanks for that info about cooking/fishing/first aid... i realised once I started playing I could get those too

I'm soo happy with this game, its unreal... Blizzard has done an amazing job.. As I said to one friend... Hello World of Warcraft, goodbye life

Oh and i'm on En 9 Normal with my main char..

Just a quick update, haven't really had much time to play but I have made it to level 18. Had much fun a couple of nights ago when the alliance invaded horde territory, bagged myself a level 18 dwarf rogue (with a little help from others!!)
