Jagged Lines on Xbox with Widescreen TV???

I have looked everywhere for an answer to this. When I had a xbox on a smaller 14inch TV the picture was fine, now I am running it on a 28inch widescreen using the advanced AV cable and I can notice jagged lines in games such as PGR2 and Burnout 3. I swear these games were fine before? Is it just the TV making the lines more jagged? I have not been on a xbox for ages and maybe I am just used to PC games but it is starting to annoy me.

Anyone else have this probelm or a fix?

Some TVs don't like 60Hz PAL in Video settings and can give what looks like bad convergence problems. That's all I can think off sorry, ...unless it's just you are looking at the NON anti-alaised (that would be alaised then!) image (i.e "the jaggies" on diagonal lines) that you couldn't have noticed on a wee 14" TV unless you were 6" from the screen, ...which you weren't, ...were you?

Try the video settings in the XBOX boot menu. There are jaggies bad on XBOX compared to lush PC gaming these days.

hmm thanks for your help. I think the problem is due to me just noticing how different the graphics are in console games compaired to PC ones. I would not have noticed the lines on a small TV but now I do.

    Ah well.
