Looks iPoddy, would be cool if that was the design tho... seems like a totally wireless headset (Wifi or something?) Anyway, it plays DVD, wireless DVD headset would be a cool feature alone, let alone virtual reality games !

one clear sign why its fake, why does the video end 1/2 way through, starts a clip of the games then finishes, if nintendo were showing off their tech, they wouldn't cut the clip of the mario game right at the end :/ shame though, would of been interesting.

And the other reason, the virtual boy flopped big time a few years back, why would they release another one all be it with better tech.

The reason the virtual boy was a flop was because of the screen or something it used inside, using it for more than 10 minutes gave kidsa a major headache and it was deemed bad for them, they had to take them off the shelves iirc.

Its a cool video granted, but 100% sure its a fake. Theres nothing like that in the professional world yet let along the home video console market - the technology is just way too expensive. Modern VR technology couldnt do whats shown in that video, which is basically Total Immersion Gaming. Theres stuff available close to it but it costs millions...

Hopefully one day in my lifetime T.I.G will be a reality, its the ultimate dream of any gamer - to actually be there, to feel and interact with the environment.

Still i'm sure that nintendo will come out on top again

gameboy beat the gamegear, N64 beat the PSX/PS1, GC beat the PS2, DS is beating the PSP...thge rev will beat whatever it faces

This is PURELY from a GAMING perspective, ignoreing all the other rubbish they put in there to muddy the waters, nintendo have always have the better machines for games, end of arguement Both in terms of technology (all those have faster chips/better 3D hardware [PSP is only 32bit btw, DS is 64 iirc])

Same as being shot, maybe not a proper bullet wound but some kind of feedback - similar to force feedback as its used at the moment but more integrated and targeted - eg being shot in the leg would produce a different, localised response to being shot in the chest etc
