    Question GameBoy Micro w00t!

    http://micro.gameboy.com/
i dunno it doesn't personally appeal to me as i have a GBA already. and the DS and PSP are reining currently so its strange they wanna go retro again when they already created the SP and the original GBA... hmmm prolly a budget release?
    what do you guys think?

i definitely wont be getting one. I think there is a point when things can become too small and looking at that i think any1 over the age of 10 will find it awkward to play that thing purely because our hands will be too big. Also seems a bit gimmicky and with the release of the DS and PSP i think its support will be very limited.

Pointless tbh - far too small, especially if you're playing any sort of rpg, or anything that requires you to read text, or if you have bad eyesight, or large hands, etc etc

IMO the original GBA had the perfect form factor, if only it had a better screen.

Yep, many an hour spent getting that perfect lighting angle so I could see just what the hell was going on...

And jonneymendoza, please bud, DON'T text-type unless you're browsing the forums on your WAP phone, there's no need for it. Thanks.

You didn't fancy doing the DIY job on it with the backlight kit?

I did the afterburner mod to my GBA and it was brilliant then got hold of a cheap SP which sits in my draw at work for those extra quite days (i never get to play it - just end up on here killing time)

i dunno, you can always move it to nearer your face. i think it benefits from a definate portability point of view - the psp is sexy, but it is pretty big

people who want decent gameplay rather than just pretty games? i love my cube and DS because theyre fun to play.

doubt i'll be getting one of these purely because i already have a ds, does seem a little small though

My SP is small enough for me. I don't fancy shelling out another £70 (cheapest ive found) for one when i've got something that does exactly the same thing. There's a limit to how small you can go before affecting gameplay and the Micro has gone beyond that for me sadly.

Because people want to play quality games - and nintendo make/allow people to make the best out there.

I won't be getting one since I would have no use for it, and it would be way too small for my hands. Better for the japaneese market I would think?

Everyone is saying it is too small - but has anyone actually held one in their hands yet?

mmmm people are saying its small based on the micro.gameboy.com site - it compares its size to every day objects to give you an idea of its size.
