There are 3 open days taking place here at Scan on the following dates :
19th November - nVIDIA Open Day -
26th November - Creative Open Day -
3rd December - Corsair Open Day -
FAQ
* Q * Do i have to bring my own system?
* A * No Scan have provided 5 Isotope Systems for you to play on.
* Q * What are the team sizes?
* A * The Teams should consist of a minmum of 4 Players and a Maximum of 5
* Q * Is there a limit on how many Teams can apply on any particular day?
* A * Yes, There is a limit of 5 Teams Per event so a maximum of 25 players.
* Q * What Prizes will be on offer?
* A * The corsair open day there will be 5 x 1024 Xpert Memory, Creative there will be
X-Fi cards, and the nVIDIA Prizes are still TBC.
* Q * What Games are we playing?
* A * The Nvidia open day will be CS:S - The Creative Open day will be Unreal Tournament - and the Corsair open day will be Battlefield 2.
* Q * What times does the competition start/finish?
* A * The Tournament Starts at 10.30 on each Saturday and finish 4:30/5pm
* Q * How are the prizes decided?
* A * Basically each team will play the [NFF] Team and the team with the best Score against [NFF] will go through to the final. In the final if the prizes on offer are different then the player with the highest kill score will get first choice, 2nd player having second choice ..etc...
* Q * How do i get there?
* A * There is a train station right next to Scan Computers, if you get the train to Horwich Park Way, we are about a 2 min walk from there, for more info ring scan and ask to speak to me and i will clear anything up for you.
* Q * Can i bring my own gear?
* A * Not really due to limited space avalible, you can however bring your own Keyboard and mouse if you wish.
* Q * How do i apply?
* A * There is going to be a Signup page on the website in the next few days in which you can apply and book your place.
