From a single player perspective it adds diddly squat

Had a quick go last night and couldn't find a damn jet ski on any map in single player, what the point unless you spend all your time on-line ? (although zooming round on the quad bike running people over is fun for a short while).

Definately not the best £19.99 I've ever spent (yes yes, buy it from Play, blah blah), I soooo wish I payed extra and bought Quake 4

Anyoen else think they hired Dick Van Dyke to do the SAS voices ?

To be fair it's an online game - the multiplayer never was going to be anything special.

I had a nice card from the Post Office this morning, claiming that it couldn't fit through my postbox, which is really no bigger than my nostril.

True, however it's nice just to have a game now and then with the preasure off (and to not have to put up with bunny hopping and all that crap)

Didn't like it at first, but now i think its great! Still not a big fan of night maps, but the day ones are good and some of the new weapons are excellent. Free unlock too. Although how does one unlock the new unlocks? Or do they only become available once you have the old ones for that class?

You need to unlock the standard BF2 unlock first, then you can unlock the SF weapon. Bear in mind that SF unlocks are only available as unlocks in BF2.

SA80 is really good as snipers spotter and finisher weapon. And you can heal yourself and the sniper.

I would recommend the AT unlock though - its ace. Not only are you great against vehicles - you can also use the guided missiles to snipe infantry and the shotgun owns at short range. Use pistol for long to medium range. Its great.

still in two minds whether to buy this or not. Ive had problem free gamin until the 1.12 patch which has caused me repeated lag. Also the increasing number of people using the md5 cheats is really pi@s@ng me off, hiding inside solid objects etc etc. Shame really cos I really enjoy it
