    Tiger Woods 2004

Anyone else got this ? Quite honestly It has to be the best golf game I've ever played , and visually its absolutely stunning.

Anyone with the slightest passing interest in golf needs to get this

    Lol

Leaderboard - yeah I remember that - and the bloody awful putting where you would take 10 shots 5 inches from the hole

I reckon the best until now was the PGA Tour series on the Megadrive - loved them

But this has to be the best so far. I must say I'm not a fan of the mouse-swing thing, I'm a traditional old 3-clicker m'fraid , but this is way cool

The grass - look at the grass - IT MOVES !!

I don't mind the mouse swing, it's great for banana shots. You know you can choose which method to swing with yes?

The career mode is great as well, it opens lots of clubs, clothing, levels.... Then you can get sponsored and if you buy the manufacturers ( Nike, Adidas..) items, you get even more money if you win tournaments and stuff.

BUT.... What a pity you have to pay extra to play online! There's a free months coupon in the box but i havn't used mine yet.

What's the online play like Skii?

I have a *cough* backup *cough* of 2003 but I can't play it online.

What's the idea of it online? Is there still a careerer mode? With stats and stuff or is it just standard games of golf

Very impressed with 2003 so I should guess that 2004 would be even better.

You would have thought so wouldn't you, but I am not fully convinced, although I probably need to play it a little more.

Not tried it yet m8, this is my first time with the Tiger Woods series - the career mode is excellent, and the create your own golfer is er cool, you can literally change every facial feature and clothing - my chaps currently sporting a nice pair of Oakleys

But i can't speak for any improvements or differences with 2003 and my *cough* backup *cough*of 2004 ...

I've got this game and I think it sux compared to its 2003. To start with in 2004 there are many coding errors, for instance you can make your oppenents concede when playing match play, also I think that there are far better camera angles and other features in 2003. I do like the idea of working through the ranks and then getting the oppitunity to finally play on the main tours but for the time being I will continue to play the real game.

Shame you can only play the career mode for 5 seasons though, then you have to start again.

That's why I was hopping that there was something with a bit more longevity in the online mode. But as you seem to have a *cough* backup *cough* of 2004 it prolly won't work online either.
