I don't think you can switch to different soldiers but you can change theirs and your weapons in the pre-mission screen.

The Mini-mi is my fave, tbh... spray down the whole area!

you cant on the 360 version. so no i dont think you can.

Gah, i havent been able to play it yet, don't get home till bout 5:30ish

i rented it for the 360 and really liked what i played of it, but thought the online play was a bit naff.

Ahh never mind, seems wierd as in GR you could switch between team-mates no problem

How much fun is emptying your mag into the nearest nice shiny coupe

Im getting these strange flickering problems, even on the menu screen! Im gunna download the new drivers to see if that improves it, im still using 5.8!

Love the idea of customising my gun.

Right, time for a quick poll-type thing....

If you run NVIDIA, what card(s) and settings are you using to get what frame-rate?

And the same for you ATI fans... What card(s), settings and FPS?

Please take the time to answer as this all leads somewhere, trust me.

    6800GS PCI-E

    84.43 drivers
    Mostly medium settings
Very playable, bit slideshowy at the bottom of the heli drop-off no Idea on framerates but smooth and fluid mostly. Mouse is a bit 'laggy' but I'm enjoying this, a lot

    X1800XT 512MB

    Catalyst 6.3
Max, with everything possible in the advanced menu set to high
Very playable, no slideshow whatsoever, though on the start of the mission.. I get 1 or 2 occurrences of stuttering (not more than 1 sec on each) probably due to caching or HDD thrashing.

Get around 30ish FPS average with 3800+ X2 on stock (dun ask me why, my scientific software began to act wierd to my overclocks so I had to run stock)

Dips go down to mid 20s.. perhaps a few moments of low 20s..

    RUnning 4 sticks of Micron

    EDIT: cant enable AA tho..

    7800GTX

    84.43

Running at 1280 x 1024 with automatically detected video settings. Everything seems fluid, don't have an FPS number but must be above 30.

I'm also noticing the flickering, figured it was a v sync issue but havn't bothered to force v-sync on in the driver settings to confirm.

Cougarslam, thanks for the SendIt link, I just preorderd a copy.

81.98 (went back to these as the latest official ones were assing up Dreamfall)

It runs SLOOOOOW even on rubbish settings, it still doesnt run that great, lots of stuttering. And below 1024 (Which is rediculous anyway) it looks like its from 1994...

...Time to get a new card sometime soon... £200 7900GT or an x1800XT... or keep the money....
