HEXUS COD2 Server

HEXUS have had a Call of Duty 2 server now since the beginning of the year, but I don't know of anyone who plays on it. Whenever I look at the server using HLSW, it always seems to be empty. If the game server isn't used much or at all, I'd rather take down the server, since it's a but useless if it's kept but not used.

This thread is basically for anyone to say that they use the server for it to be kept. If you don't use it, since you didn't know it existed, but will definatly use it now you know about it, let me know also.

Tbh i wasnt aware Hexus had a COD2 server, (probably my fault for not looking) but now that i am aware i will definately be showing my face, cheers for the heads up

COD2 on line is rubbish far to slow play something turbo charged rather then snail paced

The server is complaining about running an old version of Punkbuster. Is this something you Hexus chaps can update? In fact, it cause you to be kicked, which is probably why nobody is using the server.

wait.. how do u specify servers? I cant seem to do it.. I selected Join Server.. but I'm only allowed to select from those in the list.. not add anyone with an IP

easiest way is to open a console window (press the ` key, next to the 1) and type in

connect play.hexus.net:27960

and press return.

I think the server does not show up in the lists because Punkbuster (anti-cheat) is broken.

We may need to wait until the Hexus chaps fix it.

i just tried to enter the server and got an error message Punkbuster has kicked you for 0 minutes and then something about blocked O/S privelages ?? WTF im the admin of this PC.. or is this the problem were all talking about?

Edit: sorted that now, a new update for pb was released on friday, now im having the same issue as all of you i wanted to whoop a$$

Well, I just clicked the update button on our server, so could someone tell me if that's fixed our punkbuster problem please?
