The Xbox Live Thinggy & BF2:MC....

Well, it has been a while since I 'purchased' my 360 but only this week did I finish the main portion of the HT and got it all wired up. I was feeling a bit bored and decided to give the xbox live thinggybob a whirl to see what was all teh fuss about and the BF2 disc happened to be in the tray and WOAH....this game just exploded, literrally, on my 42" and the room started to shake with each explosion...and with the fast paced nature of bf2 online CTF battles....I have been sucked in...

Yes, even in my sleep I'm seeing BF2...haha. Since I discovered this, I've yet to take the disc out. Ok, so it could be the game but it's really the game, the graphics and the live system...and talking to strangers over the coms is very cool. Yes, I used to do this about 5+ years ago with my PC and wahtever game...but it has not crashed on me and plays quite smoothly as well, which is quite shocking as my ADSL connection here in Sri Lanka is terrible (for many reasons I can't explain here, or more likely cba...).

how does this game play with a gamepad? I have it on the PC but my pc is getting on a bit now so the frame rate sucks balls pretty badly. Only goldeneye felt good with a gamepad all over fps i need a mouse and keyboard for

Badly indeed. You need to be able to move your fingers like a double jointed octopus in order to get half the things you can do with a keyboard and mouse on the PC.

That is why I've taken the vow of using the xbox360 for racing, fighting and various other games but not FPS games.

If I want to play FPS... I'll use the PC instead

Thats true... But i'm playing BF2 on 360 better than i can on PC!

Also... controlling choppers on the 360 is sooooooooooo much better/easier!

BF2 on the PC is a multi-controller game though

You need a good flight stick for flying the planes and choppers and then use keyboard and mouse for the FPS aspect of it

I had a Saitek X52 system for a while.. Awesome flight stick.. Did it play well with BF2? Did it hell!

It was shocking. BF2 didn't handle it well at all.
