    We Love Katamari

I know it's not a new game, but I got We Love Katamari on the PS2 yesterday. I'd heard it was quite off the wall and unique, but NOTHING, I repeat NOTHING could have prepared me for exactly how MIND-BENDINGLY WEIRD it is. The graphics are a bit cack, even for PS2 standards, but the sheer surreality and original gameplay of it more than makes up for it.

    Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.

it's without a doubt one of the finest titles released on PS2. not least for the ecclectic moozak (using the term "moo" with good reason, given the track Scorching Savannah)!

It took me a while to find it in the shops. I eventually found it for £20, which seems to be the average price on ebay as well.

If you can't find it, borrow it off someone just to see exactly what it's like. And make sure you watch the intro sequence.

I love this game - I have both (though Katamari Damacy is a US import) and they're both great. We Love.. suffers from less interesting music that KD, but has some really interesting levels, such as collecting enough glow worms to light the Katamari so a wee girl can read her book.

Great stuff, and I suggest all PS2 owners get hold of it.

I made a King of All Cosmos costume for a fancy dress party last year - most people had no idea what the feck I was supposed to be, but I still got kudos for it.
