If the game is only downloadable it will probably cost someone in the UK 6 quids to download it (on top of the price of game, assume the game is 4GB). I reckon Sony would have done it if its not because of the slow internet access in most part of the world except SE Asia. And the bandwidth cost (on Sony's side) means it is probably more expensive than the packaging cost. STEAM is not exectly cheap here if you want example.Originally Posted by Tom Scott

STEAM I found acceptable on pricing for HL2 etc tbh - particularly as the dollar rate is so favourable.

I was under the impression that only GT HD and Virtua Tennis have been announce as 1080p.
This new trend to make people buy extra cars/guns etc is ridiculous. Sony, game developers and M$ want to bleed us dryi dont care what the game is, after i have paid for it i wont be paying for any other 'extras'. We can only hope there arent enough stupid people willing to pay extra.

Its an interesting idea, allthough In think the prices are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too high.
maybe if they sold the cars in packs of 10 (you choose 10 cars for 50 p or so and the tracks in packs of 4 for about £2)

the price on console games always annoyed me, but have to say that gotham racing on the xbox360 was fun, made me stand in pcworld playing it for a long time i can tell you that
