Hamachi, the online gamers best friend

OT: Is there an easy way to setup a Netgear router for friend to connect two PCs rather than use Hamchi even? The server can't be seen by other PC but can see itself only.

I second this question, is there anywhere which helps guide people to what VPN is and how to use in without the need of hamachi, say for joining 2 networks seperated by WAN
