Once you have seen it you will never be the same
Life in the fast lane is just how it seems
Hard and it is heavy dirty and mean
*looks at the couple of scars on his fingers and the flap of skin still healing on his right-hand index finger*
I just realized... I'm a modder. Noooooo! *sobs*
Worst incident was when I was trying to remove a heatsink from an old Pentium. I was using quite a bit of force, and when the paste/glue finally gave, I found myself with a nice cut extending across the back of three of my fingers on my left hand.
The inner edges of CDROM covers are surprisingly sharp at a 45 degree angle. Found that out the hard way, too.
Trash, pretty sure it's not that deep a cut, just fairly long! Made sure it was perfectly clean before putting on the bandage.
Seems I'm not alone with regards the innards of CDROMS! Won't stop me finishing modding it and the rest of the computer within the next day or two though!!

My dremel copy (black&decker job) blew up in my hand the other day. Nothing really exciting, just a cut across afew of my fingertips, what felt like a minor electric shock, and a borked dremel

naaa mate - she meant me (she was up early this morning, can't speak properly y'know...)
I sliced the pads of the first 3 fingers open on me right hand after literally touching the edge of a copier chassis. Bled for ages and really stung too....

Jeez, those injuries are just small wounds. It might not have been mine, but I had to clear up a LOT of blood once.
Used to work in a pub in Twickenham and one busy Saturday night this guy got glassed. Nasty! Blood everywhere, all over me, the manager, the guy looked a right state. My manager was holding his face to stop the bleeding, let go for a few seconds and a flap of skin from his ear to his chin fell down revealing his cheeck bone!
Thing is, the guy was so high on something he didn't even think it was that bad and wanted to walk home! I mopped up about 2 pints of blood that night! Didn't even squirm one bit! Poor bloke had about 20 stiches in his face.
I should have worked at a hospital or something!
