I suppose that's where the rise of these kids activity centres has come from... they were wicked.

I keep borrowing my cousins so I can have a go on the one near us... they're good exercise! I still wish I had that much energy though.

tag sounds like the yank version to me.

pogs, prem stickers, footballs that were too light to play with properly, jumpers for goalposts, rounders with almost certainly stolen traffic cones, sunny afternoons...

Did anyone used to play ‘bulldog’?.

The injuries in that game were nothing short of horrific.
2 ends of the playground, with the largest guy in the middle. Run from one side to the other. If he catches you, you usually get thrown to the floor and received a good kick-in.
That guy is now in the middle too.

At the end of the game you usually have the short, quick guy left.
I always felt so sorry for him. It was guaranteed you wouldn’t see him for another week in school after the next round
