Importing WMP playlists back into WMP?

I write this biting my tongue, family forums and all....

Just tried to add a prodigy album to my WMP playlists, only for the whole thing to freeze & an error to pop up(didnt really bother reading it). Its happened before(usually MSN plugin) so i just ctrl alt del'd and shut it down. I open up WMP again only to find everything erased, no playlists, nothing in my media library etc. Im slightly...disappointed at this point, i had a good 40-50 albums(as playlists) all neatly saved, along with playlists for a whole variety of music(bass - easy listening etc) - basically a good few years of organised chaoes, just the way i like it.

After a bit of frantic searching i find all my playlists in my documents, under 'my playlists'. The only thing is, i cant figure out how to transfer them back into WMP. iv tried the micro****(sorry, had to inc one) support database and it tells you how to important a contact list for WMP 7.0 & 7.1, but nothing for WMP11, usefull as a ever.

Has anyone else had any experience with this? thanks.

OS is XP pro, WMP 11.
