    xp automatic updates everyday?

    Hi,

    Is it my computer or are there always updates for windows xp everyday?

    It might be that it never quite installs the updates and keeps reattempting - note down the ID of the file it's installed and check it the next time your pc restarts and updates.

    I have had 4 updates daily over the past few days, some software, some OS based updates

    There should be if you have Windows Defender installed - new definition files are released daily (sometimes bi-daily) and as this is counted as a windows update, this is probably what you are seeing.
