When I did my finals (along time ago in a galaxy far far away) we had one 4 hour exam each day Mon to Fri scheduled. We thought this was ridiculous when the exam period was 4-5 weeks long so we complained and they rescheduled the exams to give us a breather. Nice to do a degree where there are only 7 or 8 of you!

You beat me in quantity of exams.. But I still think my final year schedule was slightly worse. 6 exams over 5 days in a row. The worst thing was knowing that they restructured the course the following year: instead of having all the exams in the 2nd semester (with the year project submission just before), they only had to do 3 exams first semester (no project work), and the entire 2nd semester dedicated to project and along with the arguably easiest exam (computer ethics).

I'll do that if you want!

I actually only have 3 as such, BUT they are all on everything I have learned int he last 6 years - i.e. I have to revise everything fo reach one. Argh!

Added to which Bristol Uni only think I need to know the dates for my written papers, and not really for my (more important) practical exams...

I had a friend who had 9 exams in the first two weeks with
most of them being in the first week. I think it was 6 in the first week mon-fri and then the rest mon-wed.

If that had happened to me I would have failed.

When I did Physics at Birmingham, we always got all the exams in the first 2 weeks.

The worst was in my third year, when I had 7 exams in 4 days.

A-levels were awesome. In all the stupid maths modules (P1/P2/S1/M1), we had a game to see how late you dared to start the exam. The furthest anybody got was to start writing 45minutes into the 1h20 exam. Thinking about it now, that was quite a poor attaempt but I guess with everybody around you writing it was more intimidating than I remember.
