Thats almost as bad as the "vegetarians" that eat fish! Why not just tell them that your a vegetarian? and then they could have gone into the garden and got some leaves for you to eat instead...

Exactly! My gf's parents aren't veggie, and they even live in Germany where it's a lot rarer to be veggie yet they still respect my decision and make veggie stuff when I'm there

So just out of curiosity, what's your reasoning behind it? I'm always interested to hear. Some veggies I know say it's unnatural to eat meat, because humans weren't physiologically designed to hunt/kill, which is interesting because it's usually intelligence which is a key factor in 'the hunt'.

I'd be that stubborn idiot then Of course I dunno what I'd do since I've never been in that situation but I'd like to think I'd remain veggie. The fish have as much right to live as me so...

And Kezzer, because I think any animal has as much right to live as a human does. Plus now I just wouldn't be able too, I've been veggie since I was 7 and I'm 23 now, so to me it's just not something normal. For example I always think of it as barbaric if I see a girl eating meat, because I subconsiously think of eating meat as uncivilised, don't ask me why lol.

Well you wouldn't think she was cable due to her size and figure but my gf quite happily made her way threw a medium rare sirloin on saturday.

You are designed to eat meat, your digestive tract is approximately the same length/composition of other carnivores/omnivores.

Your teeth are a mixture of sharp canines and incisors for tearing and cutting meat and flat molars for chewing. The enamel on your teeth is also fairly thin, pure herbivores have no canines and have a massively thick enamel coat on their teeth to withstand the damage done whilst chewing gritty leaves etc.

Your eyes are binocular in that they are focused forwards rather than having increased peripheral vision, this is something found in predators.

Saying humans are not supposed to eat meat is rubbish.

And I say that as someone who really does not eat much meat at all. More on how it tastes than anything else though

Not gonna flame you, I don't get annoyed on the internet, it's only the internet after all But I've not eaten meat for as I said 16 years and I'm perfectly fine and healthy (as far as I'm aware)
