I don't know how you old you are dude, but if she says yes then I'm sure she'd been feeling very comfortable with an eternity being stuck with you.
Being 21 myself, I don't think I'm ready to get married just yet as the missus and I are still in the middle of persuing high-powered careers.
Either way, congratulations and I hope you enjoy your future lives together as a married couple.

We're both 21, young for marriage? Only due to the social shift of standards, it was completely different 50 years ago. My mum got married when she was 19, she'd been with my Dad 6 months in total and only known him 6 months and here they are still together 28 years later.
It's just a shame we've had some negative feedback from people, I don't see what it has to do with them, our lives are in a self-contained bubble, I still go out and see friends the same way as I did before thus not affecting them whatsoever.

Looking back, i know it wouldn't have been a good idea for me to get married at 21. But everyone is different. By the time my parents were my age now (27) they had two children. So yeah, you are right, things change and there is nothing wrong with getting married at your age if thats what you want to do.
