An Announcement

So last night I went to my girlfriend's 21st birthday party, and we partied like it was 1999. Then towards the end we did a slideshow to show her life from her premature birth up until her getting with me.

She then wondered why I got up in front of the 50 people there to give a speech (speach?). I told them about my time with Amanda and how it's progressed. I then asked for her to come to the front whilst I was still speaking. I turned to her, got down on one knee, and proposed.

She said yes!

Words cannot describe how thrilled I am right now, and next week we are booking the wedding for August 2008 (the average wedding is booked 18 months in advance nowadays). So lots of busyness going on at the moment but it's been fantastic.
