I want to get one - I am confused though there seems to be so many options
I want one which can sit on the shelf and look pretty - some sort of nostaglic reason - help!
They seem to vary from 59.99 up to 139.99
Help? :|

As long as it transforms, and he isnt a long nose truck get whichever takes your fancy. Those uber expensive ones are probably collectors edition showpieces. I know the one i had as a kid is worth upwards of £500 now, shame i sat on mine.
had, along with a lot of the others, wish i still did

Damm, YouTube removed the clip of Megatron talking.
I'm actually very excited about this film!
I had that one too Madduck...
I've now got my Transformers Alternator called smokescreen that turns into a Scooby
May need an Optimus prime too though. Was eyeing them up in the collector store in bristol
Nick... Me too!
can you imagine that being sold today? the kid would get one between the eyes from his local armed response unit!

How come no one ever remembers what happened to their transformers?
The instruction manuals and spec graphs, viewable only with the red film strip, are items in themselves now I think.
All modern cartoons and franchise toys pale in comparison. I wish I still had all my toys from then if only just to pass onto future generations!
The ones from Argos/Toys-R-Us etc. are actual toys and can transform.
The expensive ones you get in sci-fi/fantasy/colectables stores and molded from resin or some other kind of plastic. They don't transform. They are often numbered, hand painted, special edition and all kinds of stuff like that. Hence the price difference.
Pub Quiz question #38 I do believe from last night... What show is Optimus Prime from?
Weird you brought it up today!
