    8800 gts is £260
    cpu is £100
    raptor is £100 each
    ram i guess is £120

yeah i guess there is abit of a mark up on it, but you have include the time it took for someone to build it , test it etc.. and then they have to make a profit on it

so there screwing £600 for what would take the average pc builder a little over an hour to put together, and another hour to run the test CD (while the engy is making the next one)

i was looking at pre built systems to sort a m8 out who lived to far away for me to build him one, but if thats what im up against i can add in £100 fuel for the round trip and still sell him a dogs nads PC and have enough left over for the pair of us to live it up for the weekend ! (

no etailor can justify a 50% mark up jsut to put it together :\

i welcome scans comments on this..

thing is though its not 600, as theres lots of other components that need to be paid for.
labour to put it together, labour to test it, one years onsite warranty, extended warranty.

If its a rip off dont buy it. There are plenty other stores and suppliers out there.

I dont see why the excessive price of a scan system needs debated. I could trawl the net and find hundereds of systems that I think are a rip off. The guys run a business, wages need to be paid, warranty's have to be covered in the price, they can set whatever price they want, if people think its too much they wont buy it.

With the majority of the parts listed come to over £ 1240.00 and certainly not a £ 600.00 PC

If you can get these parts for £ 600.00 tell us so we can order this and re-sell

Guys enter the LN numbers into our site and see for yourself ... We certainly don't make £1K profit per system, if we did I would be typing on a Gold plated Keyboard

    ahh yes: http://www.laptopshowcase.co.uk/suppliers.php?id=27

5th January 2007 - Unfortunately, it would appear that SavRow have ceased trading.
There is no information available as to what is happening with the company. However, they have been un-contactable for several months now and the company has not been officially liquidated, it has just vanished.
