Im fat :'( and depressed want to become hyper thin

Im 5 ft 9 and weigh 12 and half stones omg so basically im obese ,I want tips how to lose weight so i can become skinny, like a model.

My friend is 5 ft 5 and she weighs 5 and half stones, she is so thin, and she has like 32A breasts, and she says she is only thin coz she eats less. But she eats a small quantity of food, but she also eats fatty food like crisps and stuff i dont know how she does it.

My mum, aunty is putting pressure on me to lose weight, because they think that i will look good when i do, and clothes will look good on me. Yesterday i went to a family BBQ and my aunty embarassed me so much saying for me to lose weight, and that i look fat :'( she always does that every time i see her. And then people were like staring at me.

Ive just had enough and i want a quick solution to lose weight. I want to be like 7 stones, by 3 months is this possible to do? and does slimming pills work, i looked up the argos catalogue and they got this thing for £12, and you get results in 2 weeks, is this safe to use :S?

I dont know if i should believe this or not but my 11 yr old cousin was giving me tips on how to lose weight she said just exercise, dont eat anything chew gum for a week, and you lose half a stone in a week, she said thats how she did it. But i cant do that coz i live with my family, and my mum cooks the meals

Not taking slimming tips from an 11 year old would be a nice start.

If you really want to lose weight, forget about slimming pills and all that nonsense - you don't want to get yourself reliant on that sort of stuff. Try something like swimming/running regularly, cut back on excessively fatty foods (more calories out than in basically) and have a glass of water if you feel hungry between meals (i'm always amazed that it actually works!). Seems to be working for me at the moment.

-Running (if you can be bothered to leave the house which i generally can't)
-Skipping (hey, it works for boxers)
-Buy an aerobics video from the bargain bin somewhere or other
    -Brisk walk to somewhere?

Seriously.. you don't want to be anorexic - that's just stupid. Anorexic girls look more unattractive than girls with a bit of fat on them.

I'm 5'10 and the guts of 13 stone. at that weight I'd guess you're what size 10/12 (depending on your other ... assets.) which is a perfetctly reasonable size.

some women are naturally very slim, others aren't. way I look at it, would you rather be skinny (which imo is a pretty bad look) or a healthy weight with a cleavage?

although that's potentially a very chauvanist answer I'm sure I recall a survey from not too long ago showing that only women thought skinny women were attractive.

Don't become anorexic, it's disgusting This thread is all wrong. By all means eat healthily but 12 stone is about as far from obese as you can get.

There's not much point in asking if you arent going to do it really, is there?

    But you could try :
    Dips
    Squats
    Press-ups
    Sit ups

Running up stairs is a good one, i do that in my job carrying all sorts of furniture and boxs. I was working at a pub a few weeks back with 3 floors and i lost half a stone in 2 days.
