Just got a response from specialtech.com
Well - after all the hastle I went to to arrange my own courier because I can't use theirs, and the £17 I paid for next day delivery as I need to get on with this work, to get this response it just insulting. I've paid £17 to have a motherboard delivered to me next day which is usless to me, to now find out that the missing two items will be shipped by a courier 25+ miles away which means I'll have to do a 50+ mile round trip.Sorry to hear you have not recieved your full order. I will investigate this matter and arrange for the missing items to be dispatched to you presently
Regards
Kari Fee,
Fantastic.
So thats them off the list of useable shops !

Just out of interest ikonia, why are you so particular about what courier is used? Do you live in the back of beyond? Or are they just all crap round there?
I'm not fussy by choice, but I have issues with delivery in Bath.
As Bath is a small city it doesn't actually have any "native" courier depots, so they tend to be in the next nearest location.
For example.
City Link - they are in Bristol 30+ miles each way. They can rarley be bothered to drive to Bath so 9.5 times out of 10 they do the "fake carded" or the just don't turn up trick because they don't want to drive 60 miles to deliver a package, so I end up doing it.
Amtrack - they are in Frome the next village along, again about 30 miles away, same as city link for reasons.
UPS - = Bristol, not quite as bad they normally turn up but I'm not in so have to go and get it, but they are good, just not convienent.
Inter-express = trowbridge 25+ miles each way, seems reasonable enough as a courier just not very flexbile so end up going to get it myself
FedEX = great ! but our source it a small time courier in Bath about 5 miles away, no problem, however this is a one man band who (I have photos of this as I couldn't believe it) is a garage mechanic by trade and his depot is in the side office of his garage business, so he does the delivery in his spare time. I've never once recieved a package that hadn't had the crap kicked out of it in the garage, or covered in oil etc etc etc.
The only ones I can really use for a usable service and a reasonable delivery in case I'm not around are Royal mail and DHL.
I refuse to pay £X for delivery to only have to drive X miles at my own expense or recieve a smashed up package.
Thats the reason I'm fussy.
It is Inevitable.....
so.....who CAN you trust? Does anyone do the job 100% right in your experience?

When I lived in Bath I had loads of fun originally finding the City Link depot as its hidden away from everything. I always tried to get my stuff delivered by royal mail.
Dare I say it I have never had problems with Ebuyer.
same here. Royal mail as much as possible and the city link depot is hidden 30 odd miles away.

but nothing beats the rma'd motherboard i just got back from scan that had not only my rma status sheet but somone elses with his full name email address phone number and some other stuff on it lol, god data protection act burned right in that guys face lol
Never mind,
I can't be bothered with this any more.
bottom line is - I ordered the 3 items and they thought I only wanted to arrange a couier for 1 item. Don't know why they thought that or why someone would say "I want to arrange a courier for this order". What did they think I was going to do with the rest of the order, leave it with them for ever ??
Baffling.
