I feel like leaving my job, same old same old, and no respect from the management!

I'm bored and they won't help me develop to go further so I feel I need to leave to get anywhere in life.

Internal promotion only is the way foward, normally equals a good balance.

Where i work, every director and manager has started from the bottom doing what i do now.. generally means that people have more respect for the managers andd directors as they have worked hard and been successfull to get there.

Although you cant do this in every trade i guess.

Our deputy manager got there because no-one else would have him because he is so fat and lazy, and the only reason he got the job at the store I work at is coz he is mates with and played cricket with our general manager.

But maby try new thing/place? A mate of mine has just moved to manchester two weeks ago to start a new job as a 'new media type' which seams to be much better than his old one. Sometimes live gives you a bit of a push which you really can make work out for the better (like me and my shall we say premature leaving from secondary school).
