    Coverage is poor.

Sky Sports also show it live I beleive (or did last season).

Channel 5 usually have some late night highlights, a few weeks after each race meeting.

What I've watched of it, using the neighbours Sky Subscription, it looks a fun series to watch - whether it will last is a different issue!

Apparently Ferrari are supplying future engines and providing design consultancy on the A1 cars when the contract with Lola expires (next season) - so it's probably picking up.

Have to say I've been interested in it from the start but never made an effort to actually watch a race given it's not on terrestial.

That is true, the deal was announced officially last week I beleive.

I guess that should help it - I was cynical to begin with, being started by a rich individual - who could fund it all from his loose change if he wanted, I didn't expect it to take off - but it's done well so far I'll admit!

It is doubtful if it will last more than another two years.

The series is a mass loss maker backed up by Arab money, the "franchise" idea is falling flat. This is only year 3 and the series has lost credability.

Some quality drivers, mostly poor. The grid is made up of weaker nations funding respected teams to run them Carlin, West surrey Racing, Arden etc etc.

I went to the inaugural race at Brands Hatch and I have to say it was a good day... I had sky sports that year and enjoyed the season but as has been said the talent is rather mixed (which helped the races remain interesting 1st seaon)... Since then my interest has tailed off especially as it started to clash more with the F1 season

Re: Anyone here watch A1GP? Is it on UK TV?

Yeah, I think Sky still show it live.

It's pretty entertaining to watch if you like motorsport, and has it's fair share of overtaking and excitement, but it lacks that something special, glamour maybe?!

It's a good concept, but a little flawed in it's current guise I think.
