first time i've heard of it:
Amazon.com: light alarm clock
sounds like a brilliant idea though, hate waking up to noise

Not going to work on a Saturday morning when i need to get to work and have drunk 8 pints the night before.
The only thing that will bring me out of sleep is loud noise/water soaking
You might be better off pointing your bedside lamp into your face and putting it on a timer to switch on at your desired time. (would be cheaper than one of these lamps )

i always wake up before my alarm clock. If i dont its a horrible noise
The thing just woke me up.
It lied its pitch black and there is frost all over the ground.
Oh well back to bed .
yeah bit depressing when you get woken up by "sunrise" and then leave the house and it's still dark.
it won be long beofre i loeave for work in the dark, and come home from work in the dark, how depressing
I already do... it is depressing, but I quite like the silence at that time of the morning.
Random frosting however, is not allowed as it almost makes me late for my train.
Nah, I'll stick to my tried and tested way of having various random D&B, breakbeat, house or trance mp3's blaring away to wake me up.
i think the JLab Audio MBWG1 Miniblaster Portable Speaker for iPod Nano at the bottom of that page would work better
