Re: Malaysia firm's 'Muslim car' plan

Once again this thread proves why the idea of a multi-cultural society is doomed to failure

Notice however how it's aimed for sale OVERSEAS, in mainly muslim countries, what's the fuss??? I could understand a bit of a backlash if the Rover factories were churnning them out for sale in Bradford. But seriously, it's a few thousand miles away in their country, who gives a damn???

Their country, their rules, our country, our rules. It's really that simple

Well still better than creating beliefs for exploitation.

Don’t see anything wrong with it, how many products out there use the national colors or even symbols to sell? Is this any different? They just created a product targeted at a certain group and obviously intend to cash in with it.

Normally keen to bash on religion myself but this thread felt a bit incorrect at times to me, maybe just having a bad day…

If someone wants to spend good money to buy a Proton with an extra glovebox, go for it ... Or just flush it down the toilet. Likely to be equally effective.

There is no such thing as a Multi-Cultural Society.
Just because we have to live among each other it doesn't mean its a society as there is little/no integration.

Each culture has its own society from what i have seen and thats one of the main problems.

Re: Malaysia firm's 'Muslim car' plan

interesting irrelevant point to this thread - the glovebox is not actually supposed to be for books or stuff (as it is now) but for gloves
