I saw the programme. Unbelievable. He had to "perform" in a circus with some other incredibly unfortunate people too just to get some money. In the end the doctor had put together a free medicine package to help him but he hadn't taken it up and there were rumours that he was still working in the circus. Very sad.

Poor bloke, I feel sorry for him, I moan when I'm having a bad day but hell when I see things like this it really helps to put things back into perspective.
do you have a source? or was it on the program?
i'd like to hear his reasoning behind rejecting a potential cure.
I'd also like to see the progression of his condition, as the synthetic Vitamin A is taken.

If you watch the programme at the end it's announced that everything is in place for him to have free treatment but he hasn't got back to the dermatologist to say yes I'll go ahead with the treatment and there were rumours that he was still going to the circus.
He stated he wanted a cure because he could earn more money and look after his children.
