I certainly agree with the usefulness of baby wipes, not too sure about the bath thermometer though - I just use a good old fashioned elbow.

You missed out earplugs

1 - matchsticks to hold your eyes open because the small childs been howling since 3 am due to teething or any other such nasties that inflict small children.

2 - earplugs ; Needed to help get more than 4 hours sleep.

3 - Grandparents ; Best place to palm the little one for a night while both mum and dad catch up on their sleep.
