Its really not the nicest of suggestions but get a smoking room? (thinking about that can you even now get smoking rooms?!) well if u can, get one of those then there shouldnt be a problem with smoke alarms etc.

Nu uh! I was unfortunate enough to stay in a smoking room once, never again!

Indeed you can. We recently stayed at a hotel we visit a lot, and have always had non-smoking rooms. This time we booked through a late deal website rather than the hotel themselves, and found ourselves plonked in a "smoking" room. It was, for want of a better expression, honking

There's a simple equation for this.

    Thread Posted time = TP
Time that it takes for Madduck to read it = MR
Madduck's google image search = GS
    Post off topic = POT

    TP + MR + GS = POT

erm, how did i bring this thread back up to the top? Id stake money it i just opened up the threads with new posts on in GD!

edit; My apologies, just gone back through my other Hexus tabs and i noticed the suggested threads at the bottom of the page on another thread, never having used it before i opened them up thinking they were threads id missed & it didn't occur to me that they were age old threads! Ill get my coat.

Re: Question Time: Can you use candles in a hotel room?

Well if Parm is still in his hotel room 20 months after his original post, either

It was one heck of a romatic weekend and he hasn't surfaced for air yet..
    or
The room was so well sealed that the candles have used up all the oxygen and he is asphyxiated.
