well I guess that settles the arguement that kids today really do have very little in the way of a life...
make sure you don't play games all day, get out more!

p.s. add to the fact that this kid can only have been a complete goon to have played for 10hrs straight!!!

What are his parents doing??? If one of my kids was on it for more than say 2 hrs they'd get a kick up the pants (verbally).
I understand the immersion of a good game, but there are acceptable limits. Mind u, getting kids to concentrate on anything for more than 10mins is a task in itself!
2 things
1) that is why i got a claensing job
and 2 ) when i was a teenager, i used to have a paper round, i came home one day and started playing SMB, i got to 8-4 and did not finish the game, i was going to start over again, but my mum said to turn it off , i asked why, she just said to turn it off, and i did, now reading that url i now under stand why she said to turn it off.

I've probably played games for 10 hours in a day before... although with a break everytime I needed something to eat, or a drink, or the toliet, or the phone rang, or the dog needed feeding, ot the dog needed walking, or something was on TV, or someone was at the door, or dinner was ready, or , or, or...
Get the idea? How did he spend a whole 10 hours on a game, hardly moving?
And, most amazingly of all, how did he find a game on the Xbox worth playing for 10 hours?
A GameCube I could understand, but an Xbox? Still playing Halo, is he?
I know I'm one of these people with "no life" who spends hours on end at a computer, but god...
I couldn't sit like that for 1 hour let alone 10!The only risk factor we could find in this case was the fact that Dominic had sat on his legs for 10 hours playing computer games without moving

Yes! She did it to save you from the curse that is DVT! She could see it coming, and had to act, to save you from a fate worse than death (and then death).Originally Posted by Elspuddy
Perhaps, however, she just wanted to watch somthing on the TV, or didn't want you playing games anymore, or a million other reasons? Lets not go all Trisha, and proclaim 'I used to play games as well, but now I have seen the light! Thank you Jesus! I love you too!".
I mean, how longs it take to get to 8-4? I've played Mario Bros, and its not 10 hours, is it? Not 2 hours, is it?
As for the topic title - A warning to you all? Not really, is it?
Unless the warning is "Don't sit dead still for 10 hours straight, with your legs tucked up under you body, as there are bad things that could happen', but then, that's more common sense, than a warning of impending doom.
I mean, the Doctor even said "However, it doesn't mean that the government should be putting health warnings on Playstations.", which is his way of saying - you still have to be a bit of a fool, and go completely over the top, to come to any harm.
Right, now I'm off for a game of Advance Wars. Knoxxy... if I never see you again; christ this is hard... Knoxxy... if I die, tell my Mom I love her, and tend to the garden for her.
Tell me I've led a good life Knoxxy! TELL ME!
I've played CS for 20 hours straight but i wiggled my toes, i'm nobodys fool
Do you think when Jesus comes back..... he ever wants to see another cross.......? *{God bless you Bill}

his seat musta been dead comfy and yet have a special blood clot area put aside just for him.
Honestly....it was BOUND to happen.....one day......but its something for the News to chuck a few insults around at a subject such as Gaming.
No news on that day......
