    Re: 4 Day Week?

... i'd love a five day week.. i'm currently on an eight-day week...

    4-days early shift
    4-days late shift
    4-days off...

although 8/12 is slightly less than 5/7 so overall i'm winning

    Re: 4 Day Week?

We currently work a 4 1/2 day week and it would be a struggle to go back to working a full day on friday now...

Part of that is only havign a 1/2 hour lunch break, but standard hours are 8-4.45 mon-thur and 8-12 on friday (although flexitime means I usually get in earlier to avoid traffic and leave about 4)

Last month had the plumber round, and the electrician a few times (the wonders of buying a new house). It would have been a pita if I actually had to take time off work for that, rather than just arranging everything for friday afternoons...
