i personally don't see what reputation Britain had as a good country for getting planes off the ground in time.. i've travelled to 4 countries and never taken off on time.. i think the most on-time flight was 90 minutes late off the ground..

what do you think about the countries 'rep' / 'street-cred'

it's not only the British on this forum though.. i've met a few americans and asians on here

Thats very true, but it is predominantly people living in the UK that are on here

I fly quiet often (admittedly, from Manchester) and every time we fly on time. I fly from Hannover to Manchester and we are often late (same airline)

I guess it depends on a number of factors really; airport, airline, weather etc.

Ive flew quite a bit from manchester and Liverpool and never been late taking off from this end. On the way back from amsterdam I`ve had delays of a couple of hours a few times.

Its has been a farce so far in regards to the t5 but as someone said on the radio last week by next month it will have been forgotten about.

Hong Kong airport had a lot of problems when it went live so we arent alone in things going wrong
