    Re: Vista source code!

Saw this in an advert in a PC magazine somewhere I think for something. I'm pretty sure it's the same one that went round when WinXP came out, slightly modified of course.

I dont like the fact that it is returning something that cannot be void from a void function! Other than that its quite amusing

wouldn't their source code be thousands and thousands and thousands of lines long?

and wouldn't it be possible to get their source code from a Vista Install?

Try millions, and I mean millions (probably 40+ million at an underestimate).

And no. Several parts of Windows are not only heavily encrypted, working back from compiled code to source is not easy.

    Re: Vista source code!

Is it true that vista was written entirely by programming 1s and 0s into a Mac?

It's been a long day (day in this case being until i go to sleep. I happens to undo my own words a lot)
