iPod Touch 16Gb...

I have just ordered an iPod Touch...on impulse dont you just love impulse purchases!!

and well i just wanted to know if anyone here has one/////knows of any problems with them??

Personally always prefered Creative products for sound but my one piece of advice is buy a set of decent headphones/earplugs

Sorry, mate, not a fan. There's cheaper and better. Ipods are overpriced "lifestyle" products, but I can say, to help you, the interface is tasty on one.

Well i was looking at MP3 players in general, and then i saw this thing had wireless...and then i just clicked buy...i will probably regret it but who cares lol!! Music while browsing the web in a cafe or somewhere...in a nice small unit!!

I did have a creative zen but then the disk died after about 3 months, that put me off creative but well i probably just had a bad example!! Ah well

I hope it doesnt crash much...or at all tbh!!!

I've an 8GB iPT, no real issues with it, even if I am anti-apple! I jailbroke it, so I've got the iPhone apps too.

The wireless is very handy for me, when I'm in the pressbox for football commentary work.

Yes, get some nice earphone, I've some black Skullcandy ones. Might look into an iDol power block too, again very handy when I've the wireless on for a couple of hours at football.

Ah yes i was thinking about getting some of those skullcandy earphones!! I like skullcandy, i have a set of their headphones for my PC at night so i dont wake people with my music they sound awesome!!

I love my 5th gen 30GB ipod... I honestly can't think of a portable music player that beats it... perhaps that's because I have rockbox on it

while i do agree, they do fare pretty well being high capacity players and are the cheapest i could find that are any good. I'd go for a creative i i could but they're too expensive

They are awesome... but rockbox is not compatible with the zune afaik...
